Summer Bucket List

Today is our first official day of summer vacation!  Wohoo!!!  Last week, for my Tuesday Ten, I wrote about things I am looking forward to this summer.  In it, I mentioned that I wanted to make a summer bucket list of things to do with my girls.  Well, I did make one!  And, that's a good thing since last Friday was their last day of school.  The girls gave some input and I added some things, too.  Here's what we cam up with - 25 things we want to do this summer!

I really hope we get to do all of these things!  We have already been in the pool, so that's a start.  We have a trip to the beach already planned and are thinking about going to the zoo this weekend.  Maybe at the end of summer, I'll have to post an update and let all of you know how much we got done!! :-)

How about you?  What's on your bucket list this summer?

  1. Great list! It is so easy for summer to slip by without getting to everything you hoped to do if you aren't organized. (I speak from experience!)

We are hoping to do a lot of swimming this summer. And my daughter is doing a research project that she is really excited about that will take up a lot of her time.

  2. I am so envious! Summer in our region has officially ended but my husband and I have one big surprise for the kids before school starts. At least one last thing to look forward to before we go back to our routine.

  6. Yes, Tracie - I've had that experience, too! I hope this will help on the days when we are bored. Then, we can look at the list and figure out what we still need to do!

  10. We do have a lot planned! Some of it is already on the books, though (trip to the beach, trip to another city). I hope we can do it all!!!

  13. We are still waiting for summer vacation to start, ugh, but I need to draw up a list and quick! There is so much we want to do, without a list, it will never get accomplished! Thanks for lighting a fire under my tail! :)

  14. We still have 2 more weeks of school - ugh. However, great list. It also makes me realize that with 2 teenagers who are too young to work and too old for certain activities (or so they think), I may have some challenging summer days ahead. Luckily, they will be going away to camp for at least part of the summer...

  15. I can only imagine how our activities will change with time! Good luck!

I really need to get on my summer bucket list - I may steal some from you as they sound great! :) I love making lists but for some reason I never get to my bucket lists!

  17. Hopefully, having this list will keep us on track and we will get it all done! Feel free to use some of these - I scoured the internet for ideas, too, when I was making mine! :-)
