Beef Tips

I haven't done a recipe post in a while, so I thought I would share one of my 'ol standbys with you.  This recipe has been around for years.  I first learned of it over ten years ago when someone brought us a meal after Rachel was born.  I have made it many times since then.  It is yummy, easy, and very budget friendly!  Enjoy!

Crock Pot Beef Tips
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 packet onion soup mix
1 cup beef broth (or water)
2-2.5 lbs. lean beef stew meat
(You could, of course, use actual sirloin tips, but it is considerably more expensive and stew meat works great!

 1. Start by plopping your meat into your crock pot.  (You can brown it if you want, but I never do.)
 2. Next, mix the mushroom soup, onion soup, and broth together in a bowl.
 3. Pour the soup mixture over the beef and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours.
4.  Just before serving, boil up some yummy egg noodles or rice.
 5. Serve the meat over the noodles or rice.  Add a couple veggies and dig in!!!

This looks good and easy - two of my favorite qualities in a meal. :-)
