All these points are so true! I never expected being a parent to be such an intense experience.
These are all so true. I think the judging part surprised me the most, even though I was one of those parents who judged other parents before I had children. It's so harsh it sometimes takes my breath away but it always surprises me.
All of the above, especially how much they can drive me crazy and yet how much I can totally still love them through and through.
I love and agree with these all!!!!
Motherhood really has been surprising in so many ways! I knew my kids would be disobedient and I knew they would fight, but I never thought through how I would handle it and how persistent they can be sometimes! But despite all of that, I never knew how much I would love being a mom!
It is very intense, for sure!
I don't think we ever expect to be judged, but, sadly, it happens all too often.
I never anticipated how frustrated they would make me. Never. But, I always love them!
Thanks, Kathy & thanks for helping with the list!
Occasionally, I want to run far, far away 😉, but most of the time I love being a mom and I cannot imagine my life without them.
Wow! Amen to each and every one of these, for sure! Parenthood can be a roller coaster of everything and worth every crazy, wonky minute! Have a great week, Lisa!
Yes to all of these!
I can't believe how fast it goes by! I'm also stunned whenever there is judgment of parenting... really?! Do people still do that... come on!
Fabulous list Lisa.
Thanks for sharing.
xoxo
Thanks, Stacey!
Thanks, Jennifer!
chaos and love reign in parenthood, don't they? I love your collection of thoughts here, but especially yours, Lisa. And when you have more than one, you see that the love expands exponentially.
Chaos & Love reign supreme, for sure! This one was fun to put together!
