However, I decided that, to make things a little more interesting, I would expand a little on our planned topic of favorite ice cream flavors. My middle daughter helped me do a little research, so here are 10 interesting ice cream facts for you! (You can see the three favorite flavors of all my family members below, too!)

My absolute favorite is cookies and cream, but still a vanilla girl at heart :)
Such fun facts! I almost quizzed my kids, but then I would have felt obligated to give them ice cream and we hadn't had dinner yet!
I think tonight just might be an ice cream for dinner sort of night after reading all these lists!

I love the facts! Scarlet loves vanilla ice cream. I'm a chocoholic and even I prefer vanilla as a base with ice cream.

Monster cookie is peanut butter flavor ice cream with cookie dough, m&M's, and a fudge ribbon running throughout it. :-)
You can't go wrong with vanilla! Toppings are a bonus. :-)
My kids and husband LOVE ice cream. I rarely ever have it. It's one thing we almost never run out of in our house. Choc chip cookie dough, mint choc chip, fudge ripple, almost anything with a little chocolate sprinkled in apparently is a favorite.
Interesting and fun facts about ice cream. So cool that they grow vanilla beans in Madagascar. Didn't even include vanilla in my list, totally forgot but I love it too!
48 pints per person each year? That's almost a pint a week - wow. I like ice cream, but my kids and Matt love it. It's rarely in the house because I have no will power!
